Tuesday, July 4th from 9am to 11am

The General Data Protection Regulation or GDRP have to put into practice on May 25th 2018.
This text has to apply in the same way into the 27 States of the European Union. It involves a significant aggravation of penalties for those who are not compliant, responsible for processing and now also subcontractors, up to, for certain contraventions, the imposition of an administrative fine of 4% of the worldwide turnover of previous year.
But what does it mean in practice to be compliant ?
After a presentation a reminder of what RGPD is, the workshop will deal with two important themes of the European text, in the context of exchanges and possibly role-playing, with the participants
Workshop 1 – Drafting a job offer for an DPO
The DPO Data Protection Officer is an institution created by the GDRP, which is likely to replace the computer and freedom correspondent or CIL. What should be his profile? Should it be recruited internally or externally? What is his mission? Participants will write an in-house and / or external job description describing this profile and position.
Workshop 2 – Notification of a violation of personal data
The GDRP now stipulate the obligation for any data controller to notify, within 72 hours of its knowledge, the violation of personal data to the CNIL, Possibly to the persons concerned. In the context of a crisis office, the various parties involved in an organization attacked and whose personal data have been illicitly extracted, implement this new regulator obligation and consider the consequences of this notification.
The animation of the morning will be ensured by Alain Berry, director of Orange Cloud for Business.
Each of the workshops will be led by: Carole Maréchal, General Secretary at Data4 Group and secretary of Cloud Confidence and Olivier Iteanu, Attorney at the Court and vice president of Cloud Confidence.
