Cloud Week Paris Overview

conf-visionnaires-1EuroCloud France has decided to organize the second edition of a Cloud-related event in Paris during the first week of July 2016.

Having organized the “Etats Généraux du Cloud” event every year since 2006, EuroCloud France seeks to replace the “Etats Généraux du Cloud” with a more far-reaching annual event.

We have imagined this replacement event as a gathering of energies and initiatives focused on the Cloud. While EuroCloud is the project’s initiator, this undertaking is designed to be inherently federative: any organization interested in producing a Cloud- related event, whatever the format, is welcome.

The underlying objective is to make Paris and the Ile-de-France region the European leaders in Cloud Computing, and to bring together 4,000 Cloud Computing professionals: service providers, user businesses and organizations, universities, etc…

These events will be organized in Paris, with a central location and several satellite locations throughout the capital, including “digital” venues.

CloudWeekParis will kick off on Monday July 4 in the beginning of the afternoon, before coming to a close on Friday July 8 during the day.

EuroCloud will directly oversee the organization of:

  • The launch conference, on Monday 4
  • The awarding of the EuroCloud trophies, on Monday 4, evening
  • The “Etats Généraux du Cloud” on Wednesday 6 (11th edition)

EuroCloud partners (public bodies or sponsor companies) will incorporate their own events into the Cloud Week Paris schedule, in compliance with a charter established by EuroCloud.
